I happen to come across Flourish Studios for a friend's art opening. Little did I know that it was also a store and a space where five therapists hold therapy. I started talking to the owner who is also a practicing psychotherapist, Julia, and found that she is a BIG supporter of art therapy. (Maybe she will want one on her team someday?!) She gave me a tour of their beautiful space where workshops, acupuncture and networking groups are held. She is going to send me information about a group that is held for new therapists starting out in the field. When I get the information, I'll be sure to pass it on. ALSO! They just started an artist in residence program. 8)
