Rosa Parks Art Studio - Detroit

Some of you know I recently went to Michigan to visit my husband's aunt, who is a Catholic nun. While I was there, she mentioned that her friend and fellow sister, S. Nancyann Turner, is an art therapist in Detroit. She works at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen and runs the Rosa Parks Art Studio. The program includes regular art therapy groups, a yearly Peace Camp, and a community garden. They also mentioned that S. Nancyann is getting older and looking to retire from her position soon, so she may be looking for a replacement.

I am not looking to move to Michigan (at least not yet), so I thought I would pass the info on. If any of you are considering moving to the Detroit area and would like to know more, I'd be happy to inquire on your behalf.

Here's a little bit about the program.
